We had such a blast. We stayed at a beautiful Ranch in Mayor, Arizona which is just 30 miles out of Prescott. The weather was great!! It is so nice to get together with my family. We never get to see each other.
On Friday we went to the lake and went canoeing and kayaking. Right after that we went swimming in the pool. The lake was warmer than the pool. We had a blast, but we were completely pooped out!!
On Saturday, the adults and the grand kids 9 and up went horse back riding through the desert terrain for about 2 1/2 hours. It was great to be back on a horse again. I haven't ridden in a really long time and forgot how much I really enjoy riding and how much I miss it!! Later that afternoon, it was the kiddie ride. We took the kids 2 and up for a walk on horse around an arena. They loved it! Nikolas wanted to go and talked about it all day but when it came down to doing it, freaked out and ended up not doing it!! Silly guy!!
Sunday was our last day there. Saying goodbye was kind of hard but yet we were all ready to go home. Can't wait until next year, and hopefully Oscar will be able to make it. Oscar was the only one missing.
We had 13 adults (including my Mom & Dad) and fifteen grand-kids (with one on the way) attend. The oldest is 14 and the youngest is 1. Crazy!
