MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

We went to visit Santa in the Mall and Niko told him a whole list of things he wanted. Merry Christmas. We love you all very very much!!

Visiting Family!!

We had a great visit with Poppy, Gram, Abuelo and Nonna. Thanks for all the fun and everything all of you did for us. It was great seeing all the family again. The weather was great and we played and played outside everyday all day. Thanks for everything.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Niko had a blast this year Trick or Treating. He was so excited to go. At every door he would run has fast has he could and grab all the candy he could. He thought it was very cool that all he had to do was knock on the door and say "Trick or Treat" and then someone gives him lots of free candy. Wow a dream come true for this kid. Hope you all had a fun Halloween!!

Niko loves Molasses and eats it on everything. He discovered it when I was making molasses cookies, now he would rather have molasses then syrup.

Pumpkin Patch!!

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch with our very good friends the Carlsons. We love to do thing with them and will miss them very very very much when they move. What will be do then?!?!
Anyway we had a great time at the Pumpkin Patch (Kountry Kouzins Pumpkin Patch) in Mayflower. We went on a hayride, picked pumpkins, went through a maze, pet the goats and just had fun. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Fun Fun

So cute. To explain the pictures with the dog. This is Yody!! Yody was the neighborhood stray dog. He loved everyone and just was the best dog ever. He really attached to us and so we would feed him, but knew that we just couldn't take him in. We pondered taking him in, but one day a lady came by and said that she was going to give him a good home. Niko just cried and cried as he watch Yody go away. She said we could visit anytime. Niko never forgot that we could visit and would ask often. We went to see him a few times. The other day she brought Yody to us and we took pictures. He was so excited to see us he just loved on us and didn't want to let us get up and go. He looks so good.

YEAH POTTY TIME

Here we go on another adventure, potty training!! So far so good! He loves wearing his underwear, and is doing so good with them. He has been going potty for about a month now and no accidents. He even wakes up dry in the morning. Wow he is growning up so fast. Enjoy!!

HARD AT WORK!

He loves to his tools, he is our big helper. He decide that his plastic nails were not good enough anymore and wanted real nails to put in our walls. So we let him have one to put in the wall. He will pound it in and then take it out and do it all over again. Crazy kid!!

HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY!!

We just celebrated our big "10th" Anniversary!! Wow it is hard to believe we have been married for 10 years. I can still remember our "CRAZY" wedding day (i don't say crazy lightly). Who could forget, it was written in all kinds of books. HA HA I could not have asked for a better man then my husband. I love him more than I could ever show. He is truly a blessing in my life!! We have been through a lot in just 10 years, but I would not trade any of our experiences for anything (well maybe our wedding day could have gone a little smoother)!! I just want my husband to know that he is everything to me, he completes my life. He is my best friend, my hero and the love of my life. He such a wonderful husband and father. We both have grown a lot in our 10 years and have helped each other grow to be better people. I love you and Happy 10th!!

Abuelo's Big Visit

Abuelo Gifford came to visit the last weekend in July!! We had a lot of fun showing him around and Niko bossing him around. We went and saw the famous "Marching of the Ducks" at the Peabody Motel, and hung out at home and played. We had a lot of fun. Thanks for coming!!

ON TO OHIO!!

From Chicago we drove about 2 hours to see some wonderful friends of ours the "Kisby's." We had a blast in Ohio. Thanks "Kisby Family"

CHICAGO!!

Recently we took a family trip to Chicago!! It took us 10 hours to drive there, but once we got there we had a blast. Some day hopefully we will live there!!
We stayed for five days. Our son's favorite part was the Shedd Aquarium. He would just sit down in front of each aquarium and just watch in awe. Enjoy the pictures.

Misty's Family Reunion!!

We had such a blast. We stayed at a beautiful Ranch in Mayor, Arizona which is just 30 miles out of Prescott. The weather was great!! It is so nice to get together with my family. We never get to see each other.
On Friday we went to the lake and went canoeing and kayaking. Right after that we went swimming in the pool. The lake was warmer than the pool. We had a blast, but we were completely pooped out!!
On Saturday, the adults and the grand kids 9 and up went horse back riding through the desert terrain for about 2 1/2 hours. It was great to be back on a horse again. I haven't ridden in a really long time and forgot how much I really enjoy riding and how much I miss it!! Later that afternoon, it was the kiddie ride. We took the kids 2 and up for a walk on horse around an arena. They loved it! Nikolas wanted to go and talked about it all day but when it came down to doing it, freaked out and ended up not doing it!! Silly guy!!
Sunday was our last day there. Saying goodbye was kind of hard but yet we were all ready to go home. Can't wait until next year, and hopefully Oscar will be able to make it. Oscar was the only one missing.
We had 13 adults (including my Mom & Dad) and fifteen grand-kids (with one on the way) attend. The oldest is 14 and the youngest is 1. Crazy!

I thought I would include some pictures of Oscar at his pre-deployment training!! ENJOY! I am so proud of Oscar and more importantly proud to be his wife!! I miss and love him terribly but know that he is making a deference in this crazy world. May God be with him in his quest to do good!!!
