BIG OUCHY Day!!

Nikolas officialy made himself a "BOY" today with his first hospital visit!! He fell and hit the edge of a table at the Post Office! I rushed him to the ER, where they gave him 7 stiches. Unbelievable!! He is doing well, a little sore but in great spirits, of course. I don't really expect anything else from him. He has been running and running since it happened and I have been running after him getting irritated that he won't stay still. All I can think about is trying to keep him still. Well, at least a little calmer then usual, so that he doesn't bust it open again!! AHHHH This crazy kid. He has no fear and apparently doesn't feel much pain!! Just to give you an example, while we were in the waiting room he was messing around and he fell out of a chair and flat on his back and head. He never stops!! NEVER!!
He is still his cute little self, just a bad gash on his head. It was a very stressful day for me. Not really what I had planned for my afternoon, but with Nikolas nothing is set in stone!! I almost passed out when they gave him the shots of novicane. He cried a horrific cry during the shots, it really did me in. I don't know why I almost passed out, never have done that before but they told me "its because it is your own child." Great. I better prepare myself because I'm afraid this is only a little taste of the beginning with this child!! We are really tired tonight.
Otherwise, all is well. Here are some pictures for your viewing. They don't quite do justice to what I had to see, but close enough!! It was about 1 inch long and it was deep enough that I could see his skull.
