Some Fun in Venice

Oscar has been going to an Italian school for a few week now in Venice. So Nikolas and I get on the train and go see meet up with him.
We have been to Venice about 3 times now. It is one of my favorite places to go. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy!!!

Our Beautiful Home

We are very thrilled to be in our new home. Our landlords our fabulous, they are in love with Nikolas too, but who wouldn't be!! I haven't had to buy one vegetable or eggs sense we have moved in. They give us fresh veggies including potatoes and eggs every week or when we run out. They watch over us and are very protective of us. We can't wait for everyone to come visit, so that you too can see how awesome and beautiful it is here.

Projected Home

Here are some pictures of the house that we just signed a contract on to rent. It is beautiful. It is all tile inside, even the garage is tiled, with wood floors for the bedrooms. Tiled walls in the 3 bathrooms and kitchen. Marble staircase and wooden shutters for the windows and doors leading to the outside. Our landlords live right next to us and already fell in love with Nikolas (of course). They are very excited to have us move in and for them to have a little "Bambino" (little kid) around them. They have a wonderful garden, vineyard and fruit trees. These pictures don't do it any justice but we will try to get some better ones in the next few days. Enjoy!!

Very Small Car

For those that have never seen the European car "SMART CAR" it is one of the smallest cars I have ever seen. This car Nikolas is standing next to is very similar to the smart car. There was one in the parking lot a couple of days ago and so we had Nikolas stand next to it. I swear he could drive it!! They are all over the place around here because you can park those things anywhere!! They are so cool and amazing. Enjoy!!

We Made It!!!

We have arrived in beautiful, wonderful Italy!! Wow, I can't believe we are actual here, it is like a dream come true. This is our view right now from our motel room. We are all very tired and trying to adjust to the huge time change. We haven't done much site seeing yet, do to lots of paper work etc. we have to do to get settled. I am also having difficulty with downloading them so here is one to start with, there is plenty more to come!! Ciao! (which is hello and bye in Italian)!

Travel to Tucson

We recently went to Tucson for a couple of weeks, we drove 16 hrs to Albuquerque, NM in one day and then a 8 hrs the next day. We had to drive our truck and dog down to my parents house because we were leaving them there, they would workout in Italy!! We spent a week with each family. Although we had plans to go see lots of our friends too, we just didn't have enough time. We had to fly back to get ready for the movers.
We had a good time and enjoyed our visit. Sorry to those that we missed seeing, we will be back for a visit and hopefully catch you then.
